Someone just tried to do just that and I think I lost my filter on them. Their words: “I’m 58 yrs old and you are how old? I think I have more perspective and experience than you do…” Well lady, how sad for YOU! You’ve spent 58 yrs judging others instead of living life to the fullest. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a firm believer in listening to advice and wisdom but when you tell me I am stupid for believing something or my views on life are ridiculous, then of course I will have an opinion. I don’t want to live a boring life! Sue me! I don’t want to wake up one day a realize that I am almost 60 years old and I have done nothing but sit in front of the TV and complain about how boring life is. I don’t want to be bored! I want to have memories that I can look back on and laugh about! So if I want to sneak into an apartment complex’s pool in the middle of the night or climb a tree in front of the State Capital at three in the morning then it’s my life. Let me be. Don’t tell me I am stupid cause you think going to a movie (which I also love) is a better plan. If you think otherwise then go watch the movie Yes Man and then you might see where I am coming from. I lived my entire life in a box. I WANT OUT!!
